When the flowing gas passes through the gas meter, it is blocked by the pipe friction and mechanism. The internal gas will produce a pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the gas meter. Through this pressure difference, the diaphragm of the diaphragm gas meter moves in the measuring room, and the valve distribution mechanism is driven to coordinate the valve distribution, so that the diaphragm movement can go continuously. The diaphragm gas meter turns the linear reciprocating motion into the circular motion through the internal mechanical structure, and then drives the mechanical roller counter to rotate through the circular motion; every time the diaphragm reciprocates, a certain amount of gas is discharged, and finally the roller rotates a counting unit to achieve the effect of measuring and displaying the roller rotation.
